Taylor is well known for her time on CBS' The Nanny, where she played Sylvia Fine from 19931999. In 1970, she co-wrote romantic comedy film 'Lovers and Other Strangers' with her late husband and received an Academy Award nomination. Taylor was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing Achievement in 1973.
